  The staff and management could not have been ruder or un welcoming at this establishment if they tried. The prices are way off the rictus scale for what they have to offer and treat you with a take it or leave it attitude. Not ONE of the 4 members of staff behind the reception desk possessed the ability to smile obviously following in their Manageresses' footsteps who was the rudest and most condescending person I have ever met. Whilst this establishment was opposite my hotel and would have been very convenient for me to use the gym - I would travel into Playa Del Duque quite happily rather than be treated like something the cat dragged in, it was appalling.

  Tourists Steer Clear! This used to be one of our favourite Las Americas destinations and my wife has spent a fortune on treatments there over the years – our first time back with our baby son after 2 years we we’re greeted with a rude, abrupt and very frosty atmosphere – we had the impression we we’re not welcome the minute we approached the reception desk. It was a Sunday and they insisted all they had available was the “family day” where we pay 53 Euro’s to use the pool – we only wanted to let our 2 year old son practice his swimming as the weather was a bit chilly for the outdoor pools he had been shivering. We ended up leaving in the end as we felt so uncomfortable – as though we we’re not welcome there. We spoke to an excursion shop later that day and we’re told that they actually have different prices during week days and felt sickened and disgusted that not one of the staff members told us about that option. As we suspected, tourists are not welcome it is more for residents only (as the cheaper rates they pay prove). Never again will we be back at Aqua Spa Termal and we are so glad to be back in the UK where the health clubs are much better anyway!
